The Manalsu River separates Old Manali from New Manali. A bridge over this river is the gateway to Old Manali, a beautiful village, a huge portion of which lays hidden beneath a vast coverage of apple orchards run by endearing locals. Elegantly built old houses of stone and wood are intermingled with Western travellers cafes dotted with tourists from around the world.
